Dr. Humble, Senior Partner and Director of MGT’s Educational Facilities Practice, has over 20 years of experience as an educational planner. He is an experienced educator with over 30 years of experience in education as a teacher, principal, superintendent, and educational planner. Dr. Humble has guided numerous educational institutions in determining and planning their facilities needs. In his career, he has overseen school, college, and university development projects, including facility and management studies as well as capital improvements. Dr. Humble provided both administrative supervision and educational planning for this work.
While pursuing his Ph.D., Dr. Humble taught graduate level courses in educational restructuring and facilities planning, served as director of numerous facilities assessments and prepared educational specifications for various school districts. Since joining MGT, he has served as project director or co-director for numerous educational planning studies, both at the K-12 and higher education levels. He is a past President for the Northwest Region of the Council of Educational Facilities Planners International (CEFPI).
Recently Dr. Humble has served as Partner in Charge for a project for Lincoln, Nebraska Public Schools to assist with a Comprehensive District Master Plan as well as for a project for the Metropolitan Board of Public Education of Nashville and Davidson County, Tennessee, to develop a comprehensive facility master plan for the school district. He also served as Project Director of a long-range facilities management study for Akron Public Schools as well as Project Director, working in conjunction with Schmidt Associates, to assist with the implementation of facility planning for the Indianapolis, Indiana, School District.
