MGT collected and analyzed bids received and made recommendations for acceptance/rejection. | Puerto Rico Prison and Jail System Performance Review |
As part of the review, MGT worked closely with the Administrations of Corrections (AOC) Facility Management Office to develop a long-range facility direction for the agency. The direction identified the current and future capacity of the system by security level, facilities that needed to be closed or that needed renovation, and locations where new institutions should be constructed. The facilities direction was based on a detailed list of institutional projects that identified deferred maintenance and program enhancements. The costs to repair facilities were evaluated against their value to determine if the facility should be repaired or replaced. This effort resulted in a four-year capital budget plan that identified both major and minor works projects. |
| Bonney Lake, WA Performance and Management Review of the Police Department |
As part of a complete review of the police department (BLPD), MGT reviewed the police facilities with respect to space needs and suitability. The city, as part of another project, was in the process of designing and building a new city hall. Some of the design options included the police department in the new city hall while others did not. Using space guidelines for police departments, the MGT consultant team determined that the space currently occupied by the BLPD exceeded the space that would normally be utilized by police departments. With anticipated staffing growth, the current police department space was determined to be sufficient. |

The analysis also included evaluating the condition of the camp facilities to determine the viability of the camp as a correctional institution. Security systems were evaluated as well as building systems. |
