An eclectic mix of talent and interests qualify Martha Bernal for her work. With the discipline of an industrial engineer, she oversees complex organizational work, one piece at a time.

Martha has worked in a variety of fields ranging from correctional administration to the automotive and consumer goods market. She has focused on developing a global leadership profile. Martha's experience includes project development and implementation, data analysis, team communications, project planning and the application of technical concepts on practical fields. She is fluent in Spanish and has worked extensively in Colombia and Puerto Rico. Martha has a master's degree in operations research and industrial engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.

As a consultant on a project to assist the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico’s Administration of Corrections with the implementation of more than 250 recommendations for improvement in operations, security, organizational structure, management, technology, and strategic planning, Martha focused on the human resources development and the inmate transportation improvement within the agency. Additionally she set up the Puerto Rico’s Administration of Corrections project’s web site, developed the project’s library, implemented various project management tools, and assisted the team with translations and trip arrangements.
