Mr. Adam Lumia has six years of business analyst experience, assisting local government departments in maximizing their community impact. Prior to joining MGT, Mr. Lumia’s analyst work in local government improved the efficiency and operations of all aspects of department business. The versatility of his career as an analyst, strategic planner, and project director has enhanced numerous governmental department business operations.
He facilitated a biennial budget planning process, which included developing departmental strategic plans and departmental performance measures for several county departments. This process included conducting monthly department meetings to develop a two-year plan and to determine the resources required to reach the plan’s established goals.
He also oversaw the effort to establish departmental performance measures and collect prior-year data to be published in the budget book, presented to the Board of Commissioners, and to be made available to the public through the county’s website.
Mr. Lumia also participated in several departmental reorganizations where he interviewed department staff to analyze departmental business processes and facilitated process discussions—both of which led to more efficient structures in the library, and a streamlined management structure in the office of community development.
